LUCINDA PARK WEDDING - ASHLEE & MARK
I’d had a lot of bookings for Lucinda Park weddings in Palm Beach recently and when I got there for Ashlee & Marks ceremony I could see why it was so popular! Your own, more or less, private water frontage for the wedding ceremony, an outstanding view across Pittwater and a little bit selfishly, a bunch of great options for bridal party portraits super close by.
Ashlees dog was super cute on the day, it was obvious that he knew something was going on and you can tell looking at the photos that he didn’t want her going anywhere. Hot tip, if your 4 legged friend is anxious around strangers, organise for me to arrive a little early on the day and allow some time for me to sit quietly without my camera gear to give them a chance to get used to having me there.
As a wedding photographer, it’s very easy to focus on what’s current, what’s happening around you, the new memories that are being made today and photographing moments as they’re presented to you. Though behind every wedding day are a thousand stories and as well as new beginnings, there’s history. So knowing that, it’s really great as an outsider coming in, to take the time to learn some of that history because without doing so, little, though important details might be missed. For example, I wouldn’t have known that today was not just Ashlee & Marks wedding day, but the wedding anniversary of Ashlees grandmother and late grandfather, so the moment that the two of them shared after the ceremony when her grandmother clasped at the locket around her neck with a photo of her late husband inside while congratulating Ashlee might have gone unnoticed.
Northern Beaches Wedding Photographer
After an amazing ceremony and family photo’s at Lucinda Park, we made the most of the fading light and small area of sand that wasn’t consumed by the high tide at the southern end of Snapperman beach for photos of the bridal party before heading to The Royal Motor Yacht Club in Newport where the celebrations kicked off!
If you’re looking for a Northern Beaches Wedding Photographer, I’d love the opportunity to capture one of the most important moments in your life, your commitment to your best mate in front of your closest friends and family in a natural, relaxed and timeless way, for you to you to look back on with all of the love tears and laughter you shared on the day for generations to come.
